隨 著 Windows Server 2008 上市之日在即，微軟的 Windows Server 2008 專業認證架構也逐漸清晰，其中最大的改變是，MCSE 和 MCSA 認證不再繼續使用，由 MCTS 和 MCITP 來接手，MCTS 以實際組態設定為主，以給定的條件來應用工具做系統設定為主要的考試方向，而 MCITP 則是以實務工作為主，例如在企業內管理伺服器的伺服器管理員 (Server Administrator)，以及綜理整個企業層次的網路與應用系統服務的企業管理員 (Enterprise Administrator) 等兩種角色。

Windows Server 2008 認證體系

微軟將 Windows Server 2008 的組態工作切分為三個部份，各為三個主要的考試：

• Exam 70-640: TS: Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Active Directory Configuration，以組態 Windows Server 2008 的 Active Directory 基礎架構為主，其中包含 AD DS (Domain Service)，AD LDS (Lightweight Directory Service)，AD RMS (Right Management Service)，AD FS (Federation Service) 與 AD CS (Certificate Service) 五大項，以及對 AD 環境的基本設定與維護工作。

• Exam 70-642: TS: Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Network Infrastructure Configuration，以組態 Windows Server 2008 的網路服務及網路基礎架構為主，其中有 TCP/IP 定址，DNS Service，DHCP Service，路由服務 (Routing Service)，網路存取保護 (Network Access Protection)，檔案與列印服務以及基本伺服器維護工作。

• Exam 70-643: TS: Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Application Infrastructure Configuration，以組態伺服器應用以及應用程式伺服器 (Application Server) 為主，其中有 Terminal Service，IIS，Web 安全性，部署伺服器 (WDS，Windows Activation等) 與應用服務 (WSS，Windows Media Service) 等組態工作。

MCITP 部份切分為伺服器與企業管理員兩個部份：

• Exam 70-646: PRO: Windows Server 2008 Server Administrator，以管理與維護伺服器環境為主，包括 Network Infrastructure，Active Directory Infrastructure 與應用程式伺服器等。

• Exam 70-647: PRO: Windows Server 2008 Enterprise Administrator，以規劃與設計企業網路環境為主，包括 Network Infrastructure，Active Directory Infrastructure 與應用程式伺服器等為規劃與設計重點。

MCSA 與 MCSE 升級到 Windows Server 2008

現 有的 MCSA on Windows Server 2003 與 MCSE on Windows Server 2003 可以利用升級的考試來升級至 Windows Server 2008 的 MCTS，視 MCSA 與 MCSE 及考試類別，決定考試通過後所取得的 MCTS 認證數量與類型。

MCSA on Windows Server 2003 的升級考為 Exam 70-648: TS: Upgrading MCSA on Windows Server 2003 to Windows Server 2008 Technology Specialists，通過後可以獲得 MCTS: Windows Server 2008 Active Directory Configuration 與 MCTS: Windows Server 2008 Network Infrastructure Configuration 兩種認證。而 MCSE on Windows Server 2003 的升級考為 Exam 70-649: TS: Upgrading MCSE on Windows Server 2003 to Windows Server 2008 Technology Specialists，通過後可以獲得全部的三種 MCTS 認證。

由 於要升級的考試範圍不同，所以 70-648 和 70-649 有不同的測驗範圍，但大致以 70-640，70-642 與 70-643 三科考試範圍為主，但由於升級考試是針對已經具有足夠系統管理與網路管理經驗的 MCSA 與 MCSE 所設計，因此考試科目的評量範圍就沒有 640/642 與 643 如此深入。

準備方法

由 於目前 (2007/12) Windows Server 2008 仍在 Release Candidate 階段，而且相關的課程尚未完成 Release，只有在 Beta 環境下的教材，但已經可以勾勒出 70-648 與 70-649 考試的輪廓，考生亦需要實地操作以累積經驗，但部份的主題和現有的 MCSA/MCSE 技能有些許的重疊，所以可能會看到似曾相似的問題。

目前可用來準備 70-648 與 70-649 科目的教材，只有 6415，6416 與 6417 三種：

• Course 6417A: Updating Your Application Platform Technology Skills to Windows Server 2008
